it’s no secret how integral the breath is for our wellbeing. look up anything about stress and your bound to come across something that says ‘take a few deep breaths’ to help manage stress and feel better. but just like any other tool, the breath has to be utilized in a particular way in order to be beneficial in creating a calming response and decreasing stress. here’s the thing, not all breathing patterns reduce stress and there are actually some ways of breathing that increase stress and encourage poor posture…which further facilitates a less than ideal breath. so how do you know if you’re breathing in a way that’s helping more than it’s hurting? that’s what this breath session is all about, in this one hour session we will build your best breath by… - identifying your current breathing pattern - find if there are any areas of tension preventing your best breath - do movements [exercises] specifically designed to reduce tension and increase mobility in the muscles of breathing - learn the subtle shifts you can make during your daily routines to build your best breath so that it is seamlessly integrated into your life
