The reconnect + restore, 3 session bundle option, is a good fit for you if you've been dealing with persistent pain for 2-3 months or longer and the pain seems to come and go without you being able to figure out why. Specifically if you have hip, back or neck pain resulting either from a past injury or previous surgery. Or maybe you've noticed some postural patterns in the way you sit, stand or walk that you think is adding to the pain you feel.
The reconnect + restore option is a good fit for you if you're looking to gain clarity in understanding the root causes of your discomfort, seeing how your current daily movements and patterns impact your well-being.
You'll learn how to listen to your body and understand the signals it's giving you as cues for adjusting with subtle shifts in order to decrease chronic tension and move with more ease in daily life.
Wear comfy clothes you can move easily in as I will be looking at how you sit, stand, walk and bend.
The type of shoe you wear doesn't matter because I'll have you take your shoes off during our session - seeing how your feet connect with the ground is a huge part of this work.
You can bring a notepad + pen if you want but it's not necessary. I will be taking detailed notes and sending follow up information to you with any relevant information you will need after our session.
The short answer is yes, however part of my signature approach involves introducing subtle shifts that seamlessly integrate into your daily life.
The goal is to find ways to use the movements you're already making to retrain more nourishing movement patterns, helping you feel better in your everyday life.
In our session we will discuss the specifics of when + how to layer these simple adjustments to your unique situation so you won't be left to figure it out on your own.
At the end of each session you can expect to take home 2-3 subtle yet powerful shifts in your movement patterns that collectively lead to significant improvements in how you feel and function in everyday life.
With your permission I will take pictures/videos of you doing these shifts, which I call mobility moves. I will send your mobility moves to you in a convenient link you can access at any time or download directly.
I currently offer my bespoke bodywork sessions at the local yoga studio in town.
