heads up - because my approach to movement is based on the functional relationships of our different body systems, these sessions are only available after an evaluation is done + in bundled options. below is a general outline to optimize your results however each session is fully customized to your body's current needs and how it responds. ensuring you get exactly what you need when you need it and that’s what makes this bespoke. at the end of each session you can expect to take home 2-3 subtle yet powerful shifts in your movement patterns that collectively lead to significant improvements in how you feel and function in everyday life. I call them mobility moves + I'll create a custom document for visual reference that you will have unlimited access to, long after our sessions are complete. session 1-2: posture & breath foundations we'll start our time together by doing a comprehensive, hands on, posture assessment to identify your current movement patterns and areas of tension. I’ll look at how you stand, walk, bend, reach and sleep. we'll then look at how you are breathing getting insight into what kind of breathing pattern you use, what muscles are doing the work and if you’re breath is supporting or limiting your nervous system + movements. this crucial first session helps us understand *why* you might be experiencing discomfort, giving us a clear roadmap for our work together. session 2-4: daily movement refinement building on our initial work, this second session layers a little more onto using the breath as a tool to release tension and increase easeful movement. we'll also continue to refine your functional mobility with specifically targeted movements that retrain the way your brain and body communicate with each other. we'll dive into your most important daily tasks like lifting, sitting, or walking and explore subtle shifts you can implement to move more in alignment. the goal is to use the movements you're already making to retrain more nourishing movement patterns, helping you feel better in your everyday life. session 3-5: mobility & myofascial release in our third session together, we'll continue to refine your functional mobility patterns, solidifying the new ways your body can move with less pain. with your permission, I’ll incorporate express myofascial release, applying gentle, sustained pressure to target specific areas of tightness in your connective tissue, helping to unwind restrictions and restore natural movement.
