bespoke bodywork with subtle shifts

last SHMAG edition I shared how I was getting back to my roots by embracing occupational therapy once again. I had missed it and it has been filling me up just as I hoped.

over the past few months I have been building on that excitement and flushing out a vision for my own independent practice. you know me, I have lots of details on the vision but I’ll spare you for now and say that a brick and mortar location is a huge part of that.

i might have jumped the gun

no location just yet because I have to build my clientele first. but I might have jumped the gun a tiny bit and snagged a one of kind deal on a vintage hydraulic lift chair for offering express myofascial release 🙌🏼 Bob’s so great helping bring this heavy piece home...to sit in the barn for a short bit 🙃

I’ll keep with the suburban hippie name with the addition of ‘bespoke bodywork’ offerings. these offerings specialize in helping people move with more ease in their day to day routines without adding a slew of exercises to their schedule.

my signature approach is to find the subtle shifts that can be made while doing the things they’re already doing…focusing on the ‘how we do something’ more than ‘what we do’.

offering my offerings

it feels good to have these offerings available on my website and see the interest slowly trickling in. although the slow build is always a practice in patience for me I’m grateful to have the time to continue to deepen my offerings as a movement designer.

the most relevant refinements being the new + improved ‘designed to move checklist and the luxurious myofascial release sessions.

if you think of anyone that has mentioned improving their posture, gets achy from sitting too long, wants to have better balance or feels physically exhausted from standing I’d be grateful if you’d connect us because we might be a good fit for each other.
