movement design studio space: more space for more moves

having my own space in our little downtown has been so great on many levels.

I have been able to offer express myofascial release where clients can come in and get a 30 minute session of bodywork to release tension in their head, neck, jaws, hands and feet.
I have been meeting so many great people and I get to spend my time in between clients laughing and chatting it up with Brooke + Courtney. they're such a hoot.
as great as it's been I've also seen how often I wanted to have a tiny bit more space so that I could watch how people walk, bend and move in order to really understand what they we're experiencing in their body.
it turns out I didn't have to wait too long before more space became a real option.

the little cafe that was in my building decided to move locations to continue to cultivate their growing business. that meant there was a blank canvas just waiting for me to get my hands on it...and I wasted no time.
I couldn't really get a clear idea of how I would use the space until it was empty but as soon as it was I got vision in my head.

there was flooring to install, privacy to be created, walls to be repaired and some key pieces to be sourced and bought - namely a quality therapy table, a full length mirror and curtains.
I reached out to my most trusted handy man 💕 and we got to work. with in a weekend we had turned my vision into reality.
oozing living room vibes
I wanted to create a space that felt like home because that is how I want people to feel in their body, at home. plus, the movements I do with clients are things that can easily be carried over into their own living rooms...that's where I do most of mine.

no fancy gadgets or complicated routines. just an open floor and some intentional movements for my movement design sessions.
it all just kinda happened and I couldn't be more happy about my movement design studio space.
